I had a weird scary dream last night, I woke up at 3:00am in a sweat,
absolutely terrified.

I dreamt I was in my parents house, walking around a corner from a hallway
into the living room, while being blown by a cold wind. I saw the shadow of
an old woman in a rocking chair. When I got into the room though, I realized
that the chair was empty, but regardless it was casting an old woman’s
shadow. And then it started rocking on it’s own, and the wind got stronger,
and I saw the shadow’s head turn as though it were looking directly at me.

I freaked out in my dream.

I snapped awake, and, as often happens in my most vivid dreams, it took me a
few moments of panic and terror to determine whether I’d actually woken up or
I was just dreaming that I’d woken up.

I really ought to just stay awake for the next few weeks. It’s exhausting
to have all these intense dreams lately.
