Doug Chiang’s Soul

I just stole Doug Chiang’s soul. Or at least his drawing technique. Same
difference. Not to oversimplify the matter, he still has a distinct advantage
called “incredible talent”, but the rest of it is all in the pens.

Humiliating end

How humiliating would it have been if just now I’d choked to death on a
spoonful of Alphagetties?

When would they have found my body? Tomorrow evening? Nose-down on my
keyboard, drooling orange tomato paste onto my keyboard?

It could have happened! I could have been finished off for good, with so much
left to do in my life!

Inspiration has struck.

Vacation

I can’t wrap my head around having vacation time this year.

I can just take two weeks… whichever two weeks I want, and go anywhere.

On earth.

And no-one will expect me in at work.

And I get paid.

Server? What server?

The LunarBovine server is going to be moving between buildings, and service
will go down over the weekend. Inconveniently, it’ll probably stay that way
at least for a week or so.

Where it comes back up is anyone’s guess right at the moment, I have a few
opportunities that I want to pursue.
