Hi everyone… I’m writing on my second-to-last day in San Francisco! I’m
starting to really like it down here. A -lot- of really agressive
panhandlers, really agressive drivers and really agressive prices… but the
city is gorgeous, beautiful beautiful skyscrapers towering everywhere. The
hills are incredible, too. I wasn’t prepared for the bus ride up California
Boulevard, the hill is nearly 45 degrees upslope and it was all I could to to
hold onto the rails.
John Ratsenburger is staying in my hotel. I resisted approaching him to ask
for an autograph, but Conrad (The guy I’m here with) got caught staring. ![]()
Heh heh.
Lily Tomlin is also staying nearby, but nobody who I describe her to seems to
know who I’m talking about. She’s the “One Ringy-dingy!” lady! She’s
brilliant! She’s performing in a play nearby that unfortunately I don’t have
the time to go see. Ho hum.
I’m looking forward to getting home for Christmas, but I may die of a heart
attack the week afterwards. I have a mess of co-ordinating to do to get all
my furniture out of my Toronto apartment.
