I listened to an episode of Art Bell
last night for the first time ever, and what a pile of bunk it was. I’ve
heard of him. He’s a big “paranormal investigator” kind of guy who has a
radio show in the states where he reads out bits and peices of exciting new
supernatural discoveries. It took me about five minutes before I completely
gave up on him.

“What I’m going to play for you is recently recorded audio from the deepest
hole ever drilled. This comes to me from an anonymous source, no wait,
mainstream media, a reputable news source, (although he never mentions
which. ) after they discovered unusual noises emmanating from the core of
the earth!”, he said, or something along those lines. Then he plays this
tape, and it’s all this screaming and german guys shouting at people and
wailing, with crazy echoes going on.

I think he was trying to get everyone to beleive that he’d recorded hell in
the deepest hole ever, but it sounded more like german Sesame Street being
played in reverse.

It was pretty ridiculous.
