Conspiracy Theories

Oh, along that same line of thought, I watched the conspiracy show on TNN,
and they were talking about the Philadelphia project with some old guys who
claimed to be there, and the comedians on the panel just -tore- the poor guy
apart. The irony is that French Stewart (That squinty guy frmo Third Rock)
kept opening his mouth to make snarky comments, and proved beyond any shadow
of a doubt that he has little or no understanding of physics.

Now, the Philadelphia experiment (making a battleship invisible and able to
travel through time) is a pretty big stretch to accept, especially given the
lack of really solid technical details, and some sketchy coincidences that
people claim to have happened don’t make it much easier, but French Stewart’s
little rant about time not being real me cock my head sideways trying to
figure out where he was getting this stuff.

Anyhow, whether the old guy was on a time-travelling battleship or not,
French was -way- out of line asking him if he’d been hit over the head with a
shovel. :P I’ve got half a mind to write to the station and tell them their
show sucks, with a little note about general relativity.
