So I went to Black’s today to pick up my photos from a roll of expensive black and white film that I found previously exposed in my camera bag after my move. For the life of me I couldn’t remember what the heck it was I’d taken on the film, knowing that I intended to take something “super cool”.

With a bit of image processing, the 10 pictures that look just like this one but even darker can be made out to be buildings. At night.
I was completely mystified about what I could possibly be looking at, when I remembered.
I took these photos from my apartment balcony in Ottawa, during a thunderstorm, with a really tight aperture so that only the flashes of lightning illuminating the buildings would be visible.
Well, apparently I screwed up. Shawn liked them though. Mentioned they looked vaguely digital with all the little patterns of lights.
