Archigram

June 16th, 2002 · No Comments · Uncategorized

I recentlty visited an art installation called “Archigram” at a studio

to town. It’s basically an art show of all the bizarro stuff that architects
design after descending into sheer and [...]

Music

June 15th, 2002 · No Comments · Uncategorized

It just occured to me, going through my music for stuff to listen to, that
99% of the music I commonly listen to was written in the past 70 years. One

at his family, and said “Take picture?”

Heather said she’d be glad to take their picture, but he kept the camera
pointed at us as we got up. Their little girl [...]

Harvard University

According to Salon.com, Harvard university
is “stunningly rich. It’s the wealthiest nonprofit in the world after the
Catholic Church. It lives off the interest of its $18 billion endowment,
which has doubled in the last six years.”

WOW! That’s a -lot- of money. They further claim that the school could
continue on indefinitely into the future with no tuitions.

The Canadian [...]

Air Show

June 2nd, 2002 · No Comments · Uncategorized

So fighter jets have been buzzing my house all this morning and yesterday,
the Winnipeg Air Show is on and my building is probably a pretty good
landmark for planes to set up their flyover passes. Very cool stuff. This
bomber jet (B12?) flew low overhead and was -loud-.

I can imagine what it feels like to be in [...]
