So, I know that people read my site and actually care what my opinion is
about the movies I see, so I have to apologize for going to see lots of
movies that I didn’t bother writing up entries for. There are a lot of good
ones out there these days, including some I’ve worked on, and you’ll probably
have a pretty good time at most of them.

One in particular, though, stands out. Eight Legged Freaks (notice the
punctuation error in the title!) is the beginning of some new kind of revival
trend, I think… and it’s really really good. Somewhere along the lines
of THEM!, Eight Legged Freaks is a feast of B-Grade goodness. You’ve seen
everything in the trailers, as far as the effects go, but the story is -great-, and anyone who likes the “Jump-out-at-you-and-shout-boo” type of horror
movie is going to get a kick out of it. It’s great stuff.
