Apologies again for not posting much – it seems like we’ve been super busy, but haven’t generated a lot of bloggable content lately. We hosted some friends earlier in the month, followed soon afterwards by Natasha’s parents, then concentrated on our Christmas shopping and my mom’s Birthday, two work parties and some outdoor adventures in the snow. So yeah – I’ll probably pick out a few highlights worth talking about sooner or later and expand on them.
For now – revel in the news that my Playstation hockey team are finally in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. I completely dominated all season (I played through 80+ actual games) with my aggressive strategy of pushing down all the opposing players, rushing the goalie and drilling slapshots at him. Once I win the Stanley Cup (pretty much a done deal, since the PS2 mysteriously picked the Maple Leafs as my opponent for round 2) I’m not sure how I’ll waste my winter evenings. I may have to actually go outside and play (god forbid!) real hockey. On skates and everything. I’m pretty sure all my Playstation skills will transfer to real life. Like stopping.
No worries – Jay has the net covered
