Natasha and I put on our outdoor gear and got out for a nice long tromp through the snow on the weekend. The side streets hadn’t been touched by the plows yet, so we were stomping along through knee-deep snow in spots. It’s always fun to leave trails of footprints through the unbroken snow, my favourite part of fresh snowfalls. Low-flying planes could have caught a glimpse of a loveletter spelt out in footprints in our park.
Along the way, I stopped into the mall to cash a cheque – I was the only guy in the ATM line covered to my waist in snow and standing around in astronaut boots.
