At the bitHeads annual kickoff meeting last week I was surprised and honoured to receive the prestigious “Rookie of the Year” award for 2008. It’s kindof a big deal – there were a lot of deserving new hires this year and it makes me feel really awesome that my managers (I’ve worked for nearly all of them already in the short time I’ve been there) felt that I deserved the recognition. It’s been a little overwhelming to stay on top of all the new challenges being assigned to me, so it feels really good to know that people have noticed the effort, and that I’m doing a decent job.
So – yay! 
I’m really proud! bitHeads is a great place for me to be.
Okay, this is akward. On to other subjects…
