On my way to buy some soup I unexpectedly stumbled upon a reptile exhibit going on downstairs this afternoon in the Westgate Mall, so I took a long look at the terrariums full of snakes and lizards. I nearly backed into a lady holding a 5 foot alligator in her arms. SO COOL. Sorry there’s no pictures, but I was going for soup, and didn’t expect to be manhandling an amphibian.
It was the closest I’ve ever been to an alligator. It’s got big gorgeous glassy eyes with slits for pupils, and weirdly smooth bark-skin that I got to feel along it’s back and around it’s feet and claws. They had it’s mouth taped closed, but she claimed it’s not a biter. 
Yeah, I’m sure.
