Natasha and I participated in this year’s HOPE beach volleyball challenge through my work team. It was convenient that our OSSC team had a volleyball game just a few days previous, so we were warmed up and ready to bump, set and spike.
The weather put a quick end to the day, though. After just 3 games, as we were eating lunch, buckets of rain and lightning forced the tournament to shut down. It was pretty miserable out – boo. I’m pretty soggy in the picture below – the rain was blowing sideways, and organizers had confiscated all our umbrellas.
