A few days after the car went in for an oil change, it was time for Jay to go for his tune-up at the doctor’s. My physical was pretty routine (I’m still 5′8″ & 3/4, despite 15 years of stretching to try to break an even 5′9) but it turned out I was overdue for a Tetanus/Diphtheria shot and they gave me the Mumps, Measles & Rubella booster while they were at it. So I’m walking around with two crampy sore arms full of dead diseases.
I also had the pleasure of going for some blood tests, which went pretty smoothly, despite my history of passing out all over the place. I’ve found that if I lie down, stare away from where they’re working, and hum Pink Floyd tunes, I can kindof distract myself from the lady stealing my precious vital fluids. I worked hard to generate that hemoglobin!
