I’m eating my way through a basket of delicious ripe peaches this week. 
Mmmmm. The seasonal nature of fruit never really occured to me before I started making an effort to buy the local stuff, you can get canned and frozen berries all year. This year for some reason I’ve really been anticipating the upcoming “fruit seasons” and going out of my way to find the good stuff. I’m already craving next year’s spring blueberries. It’s going to be a looooong winter.
Natasha was a bit shocked to see me chowing down with the peach-basket in front of me yesterday, because she thinks I don’t like fruit. This is untrue. I just tend to avoid a lot of fruit with tough skins because it’s a pain to eat them with my braces. (Arggh, take them off already)
