Glee

Natasha and I discovered the TV show Glee a few days ago, and apparently so has everyone else I’ve mentioned it to. It’s one of those guilty pleasures that I’d recommend wholeheartedly! Underneath the totally formulaic high school cliche runs a clever and deeply sardonic wit. Jane Lynch, the evil cheerleader coach, is hysterical. The music is pretty terrific, and the plotlines are right out of a demented cautionary after school special.

Terrifyingly, as I was searching around to find this picture, I discovered that I’m a year older than the teacher, Matthew Morrison, and two years older than Jayma Mays, the guidance councillor (who was also Hiro Nakamura’s big-eyed love interest Charlie on Heroes). When did that happen? How did I suddenly get older than adult characters on tv shows? Auugh, I’m turning old!

I hate to say it, but I actually find this show entertaining too. :)
