So the original dragonboating prize-pack I had in mind didn’t materialise in the way I’d hoped, so I’ve thought of something way better:  Sponsor me for my dragon-boat race this weekend and I’ll compose an epic song about you detailing your incredible awesomeness. On that note: Our last practice is tomorrow and I’m stoked – we’ve been interval training and my arms are feeling amazing. I’m not sure if she’s just playing to our egos, but our coach has been really impressed with us and she’s expecting us to have a really great run on Saturday, definitely making it through to the final round of heats. (We’ve been posting good times in practice, so… hopefully we can keep it up) Plus, my team are hoping to grab the coveted “most violent ending for cute mascots on a t-shirt” award.
