I saw Exotica in Vancouver recently, and after seeing Last Night, which was possibly the greatest Canadian movie ever made, I have to say that I hold Don in a great deal of esteem. I think he’s pretty cool. I’d like to do effects for one of his films. Except he doesn’t seem to make much use of effects in his films. Which I suppose is to his credit.

Also, he got Guantanamera stuck in my head, which is possibly the most funk-lifting upbeat song ever. It’s -so- catchy.

If you get a chance, rent “Last Night”. It’s super cool. I just decided I have to find it on DVD.
